MARCH 13, 2020

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our league, the Elite Indoor Football League, has suspended operations this season until at least April 18, 2020. With the major concern being to stop the spread of the virus, many facilities are being shut down, which makes it difficult or impossible for teams to operate as usual. This is an unfortunate circumstance and not how we wanted to start our inaugural season. But ultimately, we want to ensure the safety of our players and community above all else. We agree with professional leagues around the nation that it is best to suspend play temporarily.

As the EIF hopes to resume normal operating procedures next month, we plan to resume by then as well. WE ARE ONLY DELAYING OUR SEASON, NOT CANCELLING IT. We are monitoring the situation closely, and as of now, we plan on still playing an altered 2020 schedule. We are doing all we can to keep our players and community safe, and still provide high quality indoor football for our players and fans as soon as we reasonably can.

Any announcements regarding our season will be made through social media and on our team website We will update our schedule as we learn more about how other teams decide to move forward this year.

Thank you, and we look forward to your continued support throughout this year!
