Matt Becker serves as the Mass Effect’s Director of Branding, Social Media Manager, and Graphic Designer.

A native of northern VA, Becker played football for the University of Delaware from 2009-2013 as an offensive lineman. During his career as a Blue Hen, Becker was a two-year letter winner and was a member of the 2010 Division I FCS National Championship runners-up and 2010 CAA Conference Champions. After graduating from Delaware with a degree in Computer Engineering, Becker coached the offensive line at his high school, Thomas Jefferson HS in Alexandria, VA.

After taking a hiatus from football and moving to the greater Boston area to work as a software engineer, Becker returned to the football field. In 2018 he was a standout LT for the New Hampshire Charge semi-pro team in the New England Football League. In the spring of 2019, Becker was signed to the New England Bobcats of the AAL, but suffered a career-ending injury in the preseason.

Throughout the Bobcats season, Becker acted as the team’s graphic designer and social media consultant, creating game day flyers and other promotional materials for the team. Since then, he has launched his own freelance graphic design company, Stand Up Edits. Stand Up Edits specializes in photo and video edits for football players and teams at all levels: everything from game day flyers to logo reveal motion graphics to season highlight tapes and promotional pictures and video edits. His clients include various semi-pro and professional arena teams as well as individual players.

Becker aims to promote the Mass Effect brand and its staff and players by utilizing his skills in software development and graphic design and editing. He will do everything he can to help promote players and their talents, both on and off the field. Becker aims to build a strong and lasting brand for the Mass Effect organization.
